Skiddaw is the fourth largest mountain in the lake district and is part of the Lake District 3000ers Challenge. This is defiantly the most intersting way to get to the summit avoiding the crowds and taking in wonderful scenery. You be able to admire Borrowdale valley, Bassenthwaite lake (only actual lake in the whole of the lake district) and Derwant water.

The route starts on the north side and accents up high side which goes to the summit of Ullock Pike we then continue to summit another two hills which are long side then carl side. Finally making our way to the summit of Skiddaw itself. Being able to chill and enjoy our efforts before the decent which will be also down the north side over Bakestall then onto Dash Falls then over to high side where we follow back to our start point.
